Maximum Transmission Distances for SD Cables
These maximum distances are based on 30dB loss points except for SD-1-LL at frequencies of 720MHz upwards which are based on a 20dB loss threshold.
Bit Error Rate (BER) can vary a lot as the theoretical maximum lengths are approached, so it is suggested that 90% of the maximum lengths shown is used to allow a margin for bit errors.
